Subject: Marine engines Here's an interesting question for the M45 experts. What are the differences between the specifications of a 'marine' and a 'standard' model and are any of the parts interchangeable? The point is not an entirely academic one, since someone is offering me some 'marine' engine parts. |

Subject: Re: Marine engines Colin, you are correct, broadly! I bought an M45 twenty years ago that had a marinised crankcase fitted, (I didn't know better then). While they may look similar an untrained eye I would avoid if you can. regards, Stephen |
