You need to buy a copy of Arnold Davey's Lagonda history book - the David and Charles one with the blue cover.He co-authored this with Anthony May.
It's long out of print but second hand ones regularly turn up on eBay. It's a "must have" - Arnold goes into much detail about competitive use of Lagondas and I'm sure you will enjoy it!
