On my V12 the front dampers were very worn internally, we found some Armstrong lever dampers at the local Vintage Car Club that were about the same size but in a totally different casting shape but on stripping then we found that the internals were exactly the same as the original Lagonda ones. We have rebuilt the old bodies with the good internals and with new bushes and seals they work very well
