WC stands for Wallace Charles. The only reason I know about him owning a V12 was because Lord Beaverbrook came to his manor house for lunch during WW2 to discuss I can only presume stratedgy as Devereux worked closely with him in Whitehall having an adjoining office. Beaverbrook's car broke down and he borrowed the V12 which he promised would be returned the next day. Three months later still no car and Devereux was none to pleased
