Hi Peter,
More significantly, for you and me, I recall watching one of the pre-war or wartime "Saint" series of films, starring George Sanders. In one, he drives a V12 dhc, and the sound of the engine made me wonder if mine would sound like that, once rebuilt. Still waiting to find out!
