Interesting debate. I am very surprised by that Blown2L, is there a still form a Poirot episode with a 16/80 most episodes can be found on Youtube.
As far as I'm concerned Hastings' car is a 2 Litre in every episode. I am in agreement with Chris on this, I have loads of Poirot episodes on my hard drive and watch them when I'm bored. I love the cars, the costumes and of course the stories but never seen a 16/80 .The radiator grill is, of course, very different so it would be instantly noticeable.
