Subject: Help on Lagonda 3 litre in WW2 RAF airfield photo
Hello to all here in the forum.
I'm a architecture student and a scale modeller (when I can get some free time...).

While researching about WW2 photos with resting pilots and a camping caravan ( a Winchester model?), I identified a car in the background as a Lagonda 3 litre saloon, probably with a Weymann body.

I researched for drawings and technical information on this model, but almost none is ready available. Only recently I found in a vintage magazine archive that the 3 litre had a 10ft 9 inches wheelbase.

My intention is making drawings to assist in the building of a Lagonda 3l model, and if possible, identify the license plate numbers and owner of the one appearing in the mentioned photos that I attach. The pilots are from the RAF 111 Hurricane Squadron, photo is in RAF Wick airfield, Scotland, around April 1940, the pilot in the the jumpsuit is Henry Michel Ferriss (Photos by RAF Flight Lieutenant, Bertrand John Henry Daventry - Imperial War Museum).

The purpose of this post in the Lagonda forum is t ask for help from Lagonda enthusiasts about technical details and dimensions, etc, to assist in making the model. It's only for personal interest, and any original, private photos/information will not be shared elsewhere.

Specially hellpfull will be side/front/rear photos, drawings, from vintage manuals or existing cars, dimensions, scans of vintage articles dealing with this subject, etc.
