I suspect that a sunroof was an option when the car was ordered and this one may not have had one from new.
However, it may be worth checking to see whether it did have one which has been covered over at some time in the past . The structure will show this very clearly if the frame timbers have been exposed.
In the 1950's recovering the whole roof in a sheet of leathercloth was a a cheap way of fixing leaks.
