Subject: Re: Can anyone help? Lagonda Radiator.
Hi
It looks similar to a Lagonda 16/80 model which was produced between 1932 -1935, with 261 cars being produced.
The slats were introduced in 1932 in the 16/80 and the 2ltr Continental but the latter radiator was sloping so it's not one of those.
The later M35 & M45 had slatted radiators with the same filler cap but the radiators were larger and more rounded.
If it is a 16/80 there is one advertised on http://www.prewarcars.com - Lagonda Spares priced at E 1750 but the radiator, shell and slats have been restored and that could have cost nearly that to restore. You could advertise in the Lagonda Club newsletter and ask for offers.
Good luck, hope dad enjoys the MGA.
