Subject: Ace Wheel Discs - Removal
My most recent Lagonda acquisition has Ace wheel discs, which I have never had on a car before.
Usually I would just get out my toolbag and logically dismantle such items. However, since I am a member of this forum of experts, I thought that I would call on your wisdom.
The bit I don't understand is that there is obviously some tubing inside the disk connecting the valve on the tyre to the inflation point on the Ace disc (so that you don't have to remove the disc to inflate the tyre or check tyre pressures). How does that come to pieces?
Also is it usual for gravel etc to get caught behind the discs and then rattle around on the wire wheels?
Thanks in advance!
