Subject: Re: chassis 12017 How much did it sell for at Bonhams Goodwood Auction? Their website simply says sold without stating an amount. |

Subject: Re: chassis 12017 I tried to find this out also but it was sold after the auction so there is no requirement to publish the sale price. Indeed it may have been a condition set by the dealer buyer that the price was not disclosed for obvious reasons! However, I heard a whisper that it was less than £100k. In relation to the current asking price, I was told many years ago by a car dealer that as a buyer you should not judge the profit the dealer will make (assuming you know the purchase price) but whether the asking price represents a good deal! This car is a marriage albeit a good looking one. Is a former LG45 saloon rebodied as an M45 T8 tourer but retaining much of the LG45 front end really worth original M45 money? Guess it is down to individual choice. |
