It was more or less complete e.g. no rear bumper. It appeared to me to be a 'proper' barn find, if you know what i mean, and i thought the price achieved about right (if not a little light). Certainly, it was a far better better bet, restoration-wise, than the AM V8 half finished project that achieved £46 pbp.

I agree, it was a good project, and slowly prices of saloons starting to creep up, about time, given their rarity...

I cannot get my head around the price of AM project cars, no doubt more to follow in 3 weeks time at Newport Pagnell.

I watched a live streaming from the auction. The auctioneer was having to work really hard to get much interest in many of the lots. Perhaps it will have been be sold afterwards.
