Worth dropping our dear friend an email, but currently away on a 2-week jolly.

Do you have a personal connection ?

I have a piece of the car's history. Long story...

Just returned from 3 weeks in a camper trailer in Central Australia: sheer bliss no internet and only occasional telephone.

I do not know this car but will do some research when I have time.

Simon's drop head sale at Bonhams AM was great news to return to.

David, Simon,
I emailed George Hobbs, the last known owner according to older Club registers.
The car is still in his garage in Adelaide. He made no further comment.

Did the dhc in Monaco on eBay finally sell?

Might Mr Hobbs be interested in a handbook in well used condition annotated by previous owners?. If not it's available on the open market

I guessed correctly, would be nice to unit the car and handbook..

By chance I picked up the hand-book of LB290/1/265 a little while ago, the car sold at Bonhams several years ago, so if the current owner ever reads this forum, please be in contact..
