Subject: Re: magneto for 2 litre That looks very nice indeed - but that magneto appears to be of the same size as the Scintilla GN4 . The clamping arrangement is also similar. |

Subject: Re: magneto for 2 litre The clamping arrangement as it is now for the BTH (and the ML) would pass exactly over the bakelite part with the ignition wires. In fact, for fixing the Scintilla,I have to fit first a new plate, on which the clamping arrangement is 6 cm farer from rear side of the magneto |

Subject: Re: magneto for 2 litre Bob, if you have everything so perfectly sorted out and are so sure about the Scintilla GN4 magneto not being right, too big, needing different clamps and another plate - why did you ask the question in the first place? I took a lot of trouble writing answers, providing the name and number of a first class magneto expert, uploading pictures etc. - only to be told that you know better anyway. Don't expect anymore advice from me. |

Subject: Re: magneto for 2 litre I swear, I don't understand how I could offend you... I am far from having everything perfectly sorted out (unfortunately ) and I am not sure about anything Lagonda... I tried to show you ( and other members) my problem... sorry for any misapprehension... bob |
