Does anybody have a spare anti roll bar for my LG6

Dear Adrian,
the only information I have is from the V12/LG6 Chassis handbook from David Hine, he writes that for the non purist if you want to make a front one, with some modification you can use an anti roll bar from Bentley MK VI.
I donīt remember if he says something about the standard rear one and if the MK VI can help here too

Hi Adrian,
I have a V12 with original factory body & is missing the ARB. There is no way one would bolt onto the holes in the shock absorber lever arms without fouling the underside of the floor. It is a late car (1940 & entirely rebuilt by the factory in 1945) so it is quite possible the factory did away with them. The shock absorbers were replaced with non-adjustable ones in 1953 & it is possible the lever arms were mounted higher up the unit than the original pattern ones, but I would have thought that unlikely. My understanding is there are arguments for & against ARBs, & certainly the handling was fine ... never felt "I must get an ARB!" I'd certainly check & see if fitting is viable first.

Thank you all for your reply.I am sorry not to have acknowledged before.I would like to fit one if any are available as these heavy saloons do roll on corners and I think a roll bar would help.

Adrian,

It's worth contacting Robin Cooke. As well as being the Lagonda Spares man, he is a purveyor of Rolls and Bentley parts and may be able to help. Phone number 01728 604040
