Subject: Lagonda LeMans at 52' Watkins Glen Event If found another good shot of the Lagonda LeMans that had been used for the 1946 Indy 500 participating in the 1952 Watkins Glen, NY event. http://www.ferrariexperts.com/SCCA%20results%201952.htm (Page down to the Watkins Glen program and a few pages in on the lower left is the car #106) From 1950 to at least 54 the LeMans was fairly active; Bridgehampton, Watkins Glen, Ascutney Hill Climb, Mt Equinox Hillclimb, Linden NJ road races, Thompson, CT and others. Mostly Sports Car Club of America events. Driven by some fairly well know US drivers like John Fitch and Shewood Johnston. Steve |
