Some impressions from the highlight of our continental Lagonda year 2010: this time near Maastricht. Thanks again to the organizers! and thanks to my V12 saloon who did the trip back and forth (more than 1000km) plus two days rally on very small roads without trouble and with an engine running smoothly and powerfull.

Thanks also to all those who gave me positive feedback at the rally about this forum. Several regretted that there is not more activity: This is up to you, if you post more you will have more people answering and discussing. If a critical mass is reached it will grow a lot.

Examples what you can post:
  • report about a technical problem you had and how you solved it, including pictures. (we could have at least 5 reports like that from this last rally)
  • report about parts you found that fit your Lagonda
  • use the forum if you are looking for or selling parts or a complete Lagonda
  • report about restoring your car. If somebody has a long story with more than 5 images he can extend the topic by replying to his own post. Or you write it as a word or pdf text and attach it.

Peter,

thanks for the pictures! Is a date and venue fixed for 2011?

We attended this rally in our 1929 2 litre high chassis and arrived home yesterday after making an extended holiday. UW 2193 ran, like Peter's, without any faults and we covered just under 1200 miles with a fuel consumption of 26 MPG.
We would also like to thank all the people who made this holiday happen. A lot of hard work went on behind the scenes to make the whole operation run very smoothly. VERY well done to all concerned.
