Subject: Buying a rapide...

This is in the Rapide specific section as well but looking at the regularity of replies I thought I would post it here too...

While on a nearby church roof I noticed this car (see attached photo taken on my phone) and was later able to have a good look around it. I have met the owner but have not tackled the subject of aquiring it. According to the DVLA it was last on the road in 1988. Assuming it is fairly crusty below etc etc should I try and aquire this vehicle (subject to it having its original engine) and how much? I have much better photos but they are on my camera...which is not with me at the moment. Thanks, Christian

I have now bought the Rapide... I have also spoken to Aston Service Dorset about spares etc - they have been really helpful. I was suprised to find that the horn push alone is £570!

Good for you!

I am also looking to purchase a Lagonda Rapide. May I ask how much you paid for it?
