I wonder if the originals are actually something else which has been adapted - something not related to cars - unusual end shape...  |

I might get some machined in Alu to match the originals - internal thread might be a problem though... The originals must be out there somewhere! |

I will look at getting some made, ideally I'd like them black though chromed could look quite good! I will let you know how I get on... |

Subject: Re: Outer Door Handles & Bakerlite Horn Shaped Inner Door Locks I've made contact with a firm who produce low volume injection mouldings, they are going to copy the lock pin in black plastic. Plunkett Associates (See here) will give me a unit price once they have dimensioned off the original. I think the aluminium option would be too complicated and expensive due to the internal thread and the fact that it would have to be machined. Would those who need this part be happy with a like for like in plastic? If you are interested please let me know so I can estimate how many to get made - I'm thinking that 50 is probably a minium run. All to be confimred. |

A couple of us thought a while ago about a soft top version when there were a some unloved cars around, create something like a Lincoln Continental convertible (as in Kennedy & Dallas) but it came to nothing of course |

Re-routed tank breathers etc & put a different pressured fuel pump on along with new heat shrinking fuel pipes & banjos. Bespoke exhaust system going on in a fortnight. Regards, Guy. |
