Finally got around to collecting this beauty, I used an excellent and knowledgeable man to collect and trailer it home for me. Don't skimp on this, well worth paying someone who know what they are doing, especially when a car has sat for 40 years.

The title refers to the first owner, who was "Mr. Carry On", the man who made all those films, Peter Rogers.

Pictures of the car coming out from its long hiberntation, last road registered in 1972..

More pictures from the pretty setting whwere the car had been stored. During moving, half of the very rotten exhaust dropped off, not suprising, since closest to the ground.

A few more pictures, one above is with the last owners son. Tyres inflated after 40 years and still holding pressure, amazing. All wheel trims present with the car and all useable.

Also two eared spinner, jack, window opener and a set of tools in original Aston tool kit bag, albeit rather tired looking.

The car was aboslutely filthy when collected, covered in grime, dust and muck etc, will be a challenge to clean! The car was covered in carpets, which have left an oily finish on top of the paint in places, will be a challenge to see if it can be removed.

Forget to mention , a nice colony of long deal snail shells on the carpet behind drivers seat, they enjoyed the carpet, but thankfully left the seat leather alone!

An amazing find. Whereabouts did you get it from?
