Subject: Re: Lagonda Rapides in films and on TV Just for your info, your first link has an incorrect date: http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_92301-Lagonda-Rapide-1962.html This link is for Doctor in Distress, it features LR126, which was the car owned by the producer, Peter Rogers and the date is 1963. The car was sold on 8th March 1963. Simon |

The Lagonda with number plate which spells out the word "Rapide", so no identification as to car. Although I would hazard a guess that someone might know which car was the Motor Show car that year ? |

Subject: Re: Lagonda Rapides in films and on TV Hi SRD, I wondered about that since it was logical that the Peter Rogers car would have been used as a 'prop' during filming. Has it had a registration number change during its life, since the number appears to be different to that on the car you're now restoring? |

Subject: Re: Lagonda Rapides in films and on TV The car is currently on its 3rd registration. The 2nd registration was also a personal number which was retained by the second owner. Once I get a little more organised I hope to reclaim the original number back. |
