Subject: Another 1951 2.6 litre Lagonda dhc appears, barn find I am loosing count of the number of 2.6 dhc's appearing now. This example is a complete barn find, and with engine and gearbox. The car has been stored since 1966, so will have all the usual rust gremlims to sort, leather work and engine / mechanicals etc. Engine with 85,000 miles on it and factory records until 1959. Shame the car just sits there and an enthusiast doesn't get stuck in. But at this price it seems rather expensive, and I feel the 2.6 cars are still an unknown quantity in the market-place.. |
