Subject: LG6 Saloon in the April H&H auction There's also an LG6 coming up in the H&H sale. It's a coachbuilt saloon on the longer chassis. Looks decently original, but yet more proof of the apparent inability of independent coachbuilders to come up with anything to match the art and style of Lagonda's Frank Feeley. It's a rather boring 1935, or even earlier, style; why someone in 1939 would have paid extra for something lumpy and out of date is beyond me. We are not told who the coachbuilder was.

I certainly agree about the boring (but worthy) nature of the H&H LG6 saloon.

Much more fun is Brian Saville's excellent W24P 16/80 saloon. I know the car pretty well. Brian is selling it for health reasons and I hope it will go to an appreciative home. If any one needs a more detailed briefing on this car, drop me a mail or PM.

It has a charm but I think the all black paintwork does zippo for the lines. See the WO 8 litre in green with Black trim. it would transform the Lagonda into quite a special looking limo. Mind only my view.

But one has to see past the color in this instance and then you can see it is actually is a striking looking limo.

I wonder how long this car will be, a good point of course!
