LR153 finally completed and for sale through Desmond Smail at £185,000 with a nice degree of patination here, and with the desirable 4-speed ZF box

Simon, are you sure it has 4 speed ZF box? If it's the same as fitted by Graham Whitehouse it's a Jaguar XJR 4 speed auto unit mated to a Citroën tail cone to provide analogue speedo as the Jag unit is digital

David - you may be right, it could be a GM box. Perhaps misinformed by the owner or my grey cells not working..
