Subject: DB3L Saloon Woodwork
I have now got to the point of completing the replacement wood pieces for /207 and thought that i should share the details "pour encourager les autres"
As received the car had rotted out the LH side door openings up to the windscreen pillar,the RH was partially gone but with enough left to provide patterns. The piece at the rear of the boot was partially intact together with the remains of the valance support below it.
The attachments show pictures of the shop used and the results. Drawings of the basic shapes are included and a cross section schematic of the door sill arrangement
