Subject: DB 2.6 and 3 ltr windscreens Avalable
Surprised I have discovered a windscreen place that has patterns for both types of windscreen for the Lagonda 2.6 and 3 ltr. That is the screen with the rounded curve at the top and bottom and the screen with the curve at the top and the squared angle at the base.
The Company is:
Triplex Replacement Service Ltd
Main Road
Queenborough
Kent ME 11 5BB
Tel No 01795 593100.
The 2.6 and 3 litre Glass with the rounded corners:
Part No 229T 80- 234/CL or Eurocode 2102ACL
The 2.6 and 3 Litre glass with the square angle at the base:
Part No 229T 80- 229/CL or Eurocode 2101ACL
The manager tells me we should be able to go to any windscreen glass supplier and they can order from Triplex Replacement Ltd. or order direct from Triplex Replacement Ltd. The turn round is from 4 to 6 weeks. I would suggest however that potential buyers sent a photo of the screen type they are after.
Now comes the unpleasant bit, Cost!
Both types.
Cost ex works   £237.20 PLUS Vat at 17.5% = £278.71
Shipping case   £ 25.00 PLUS Vat at 17.5%=£ 29.38
Delivery UK £80.00 Plus VAT at 17.5%=£ 94.00
Total for a screen is £402.09.
Screens can be picked up from the works if desired thus saving on case and delivery. Smiling

Peter

Peter good evening,

I have a cracked screen on a 3.0 litre car, my question relates to the rubber windscreen trim. Where did you source this from, or did you have it made up specially ?

Kind regards

Simon

Peter Reeves has sold his nice 3ltr DHC unfortunately. So I assume he is not following this forum any more but may be you can reach him by PM or email
