Subject: 2L LC SC rewire
Hello all,

Starting a general overhaul of my 1931 SC LC. I "HAVE" to rewire her and would like to keep her period correct without sacrificing safety. Many hands over the ages have "tacked on" diff. items, and heat/time hasn't been kind to insulation either, so now I'm trying to minimize and "clean up"

So the initial questions in no apparent order are:
- Is there a wiring diagram out there that I've missed?,
- What ga and type of wiring to use?
- Was there a "uniform" code of "black w/white stripe to Headlamps", "black w/red to tail lights" etc?

Any suggestions gratefully received, and as this is my first post ever, please be gentle, lol. Thanks in advance

PS: Car reg is/was GP 466.

A firm called Autosparks manufacture wiring looms for our sort of cars. They supplied one for my Riley RMB, and I'm likely to go to them for a replacement for that on my V12 ... especially as none of the VSCC member/specialists have shown any interest, just wasted my time!
If they don't produce one for your car, I believe they will copy yours, with any alterations you require.

You need to be careful. The LG45 harness I got from them was nowhere near my original. I unpicked it and altered it. Make sure you have any extras you want added. They will braid your wiring if you had the patience to tape up the new wires yourself using your own loom as a pattern.

Thank you all, think I'll have to do it on my own back. Old cars hey!
