Subject: Motorola 57082 - How to add an aux input
Sadly my Motorola 57082 does not have the illuminated ‘Lagonda’ badge...however it does have an additional Motorola power amp strapped on the rear for an additional speaker – perhaps it was an upgrade?

Anyhow I like the look of the original radio and personally wouldn’t want to upgrade or add a modern radio so I have added a very discrete input so you can plug in an MP3 (or similar) device. It is very simple and cheap to do and works very well. When you plug in your device it cuts off the radio, to make this modification follow the steps shown in the photos below. I have removed the additional amp for the purposes of this 'How To' so it shows a standard radio setup.

Existing setup

Inputs added - it will still be mono but with a stereo input.

I am not a qualified electrician, this modification is done at your own risk – enjoy!
