Subject: Choke / Mixture Adjuster
A picture of the choke /mixture adjuster behind the steering wheel, before the metal work is is restored, oops I mean rust removed and then resprayed

That's the third design of that casting I've seen! No wonder they lost money

My choke control is a slider just like the heater vent control. on the lower part of the dash facia.

Can you please post a picture of your choke control.

I hadn't realized until the owner of 117 mentioned it, there was so much variety in tjhe position of the choke control and also style of the unit.

This appears to be if I may use the words, "the normal position" on these cars.

Still can't work out why they choose to move the choke/mixture adjuster linkage around so much!

Have looked at pictures of 132 and 153 and both have the adjuster in same position.

Did your car ever have veneer on the bottom section of your dash-board, must be one of the few like this ?

I think (but could be wrong) that the earlier cars were like this on the lower section and later ones were veneered...

Same on 120, 148 and 155 and I believe also on 129

Would be nice to know what the feature is on cars before say 120 ?

I am curious to know what other variantx, David had noted for the choke/mixture adjuster and where they are located ?
