Subject: How many miles per gallon can I expect with my M45 ?

I see Colin mentioned in another posting 3 miles per litre for an LG6 ! Does anyone care to contribute to this seldom discussed but increasingly relevant topic ( to me anyway) ? I am old school and still think in miles per gallon ( Imperial) . The price of petrol just took another jump here in Canada. Now up to $1.31 per litre regular. Hi test Shell without ethanol is $1.50 per litre.

Generally about 20mpg driven on std roads at normal modern day speeds.
up to 30 if driven hard up the mountains!

That sounds great Julian. Better than I thought. So if I drive it harder I will get 10 more miles per gallon or is that as I suspect a typo ?
