Subject: Bumb stop bracket
On the marvelous Continental Tour 2015, this time to Czech Republic, for me 2000km in total (will post some photos), I had only some minor fixes on the 2ltr during the trip but lost one of the bump stop rubbers including the holding bracket. I had a spare rubber but you also get them from the club. I ordered some pieces of 3mm steel, laser cut (there are nice shops on the internet where you upload your dxf drawing and get the parts by post). Then bent the right angle, riveted and painted. The two new ones are now on the car but fixed with a self securing nut.

Nice work on those holding brackets Peter,
How did you lose the bump stop by the way (or are the roads in the Czech Republic really that bad)?
Best Regards
Chris
