The 2 DB4/5 look a likes are not in the scrap numbers for they are known to exist but one is or was
in a bad condition, the other I have no up to date photo of, so again its condition I am not sure of.
The 3 in a very bad state could have become scrap cars by now.
Like all records or data it is usually out of date by a year or two.

"The 2 DB4/5 look a likes.." Do you mean Rapides that are fitted with a DB4/5 grille? If so, I can help re one of them (137) - it is currently in the very early stages of a ground-up restoration to my certain knowledge.

I have the photos of 137, but 130 was said to be a look alike, but
I am not sure about this and the photo is quite old.

Alan,

Can you post a picture of 130 or send to me / us via email please? I don't know whether David already has a copy. By the way, might we possibly dispense with the term 'look alike', since they don't? Grinning

There is a photograph of 137 in the Catalogue of British Cars (p.196) as you may know.

The 2 cars I referred to as converted into something else do not include 137 which is still clearly a Rapide with a factory-fitted DB5 frontal treatment. Which is the other one by the way?

I was referring to 130 which is allegedly a DB4GT Zagato look alike, as per the AMOC Register of 2004 (?) and to 102 (some of) whose body panels etc have been (or at least were some years ago) mated with a DB4 chassis to make in effect a 2-door hybrid.

If it's not 130 converted then it's 103 (I don't have books to hand), and I don't recall today which of these 2 cars I looked at around Easter 1998 at the USA, pre-conversion

The 7 cars on which I have no info beyond build sheet type data are 111, 112 (reputed to be in Eire still), 125, 126, 132, 134, 143. Alan do you know of any of these?

So, of all those known cars, anyone of them might come up for sale?

Well, I suppose anything might come up for sale, theoretically. But, when you are dealing with only a handful of cars in the world, a number of which being owned by the same person and most in long-term ownership, the odds of finding what you appear to want without searching out one of those 'lost' cars seem quite slim (putting it mildly). There are a few average and good cars that have come on to the market, some more than once in recent times. But, these days the price commanded reflects the rarity of the cars.

Hi David
Thanks, for your information, but I did have those details on 127, on 126 Doctor in distress its
no' plate is 100 BYU in 63,

I have 2 photos of a Yellow Gold Rapide (may be the same car) one has a White no' plate with
Red letters & the other has Yelow plate with Black letters, it would be interesting to find its ch' no',
it looks to have spinners but rather hard to see.
