Subject: The Lagonda Badge
If you examine the badge at the top of the page you will observe the "A"s are in the form of the freemason's compass and square. I gather that this is one of the freemason's symbols. Can any historian shed any light?

The same "A" can be found in "The Book of Lindisfarne", late 7ths century. The monastery of Lindisfarne is on an island at the coast of Northumberland.
