The car is in a nice combination of red and black, with tan leather interior.
Estimate is low at £30-40k, because and yes there is a genuine reason.
Some years ago (2000) Mthe the engine overheated, and the block cracked and it was cold-stitch repaired. Vendor "believes" that it is fine...
But company doing the work went into receivership and vendor collected the engine still dismantled.
Now the best bit, if this wasn't enough,
"For transportation and photographic purposes the radiator, bonnet and front bumper have been temporarily refitted. With all engine parts readily available from marque specialists, this relatively straightforward restoration project represents an exciting opportunity for the Lagonda enthusiast."
if the engine rebuild was so "straightforward" why did the vendor not get on with it ?
Is there such a thing as a straightforward rebuild of a V12 engine, when someone else has been in there before you and not finished the job ?
Looks a great way to empty your bank account, what a shame, since this car has in my opinion, a nice shape and great presence.
