Subject: 1955 Lagonda 3.0 dhc, up for sale again, now in France
FOR SALE BY AUCTION ON JUNE 22ND BY OSENAT OF FONTAINEBLEAU---
Chassis n° LB290/1/94
Engine n° VB6H/290

http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C507025

Sold previously by H&H on 31st October 2012 for ca. £38.6k

see this link and also previous page on Forum:

http://www.classic-auctions.com/...headCoupe-35601.aspx

All the usual mistakes in the auctioneers blurb, and at last count, there were ca. 35 dhc's remaining out of an often quoted 55 cars.

Looks to be the same car, with very tired interior, doesn't appear to have had much done since 2012 when purchased. other than the paint-work buffed and polished and some new tyres

Estimate Euro's 70-90

It does look sensational though. I am not a fan of the whitewall tyre but it carries it off ok.

Do you think this is an origianl colour? It looks more red in the original photos, more burgundy in the recent shots. The top would look better in the original tan as opposed to black.

Tony hi

The 3.0 dhc does seem to be the very best of the bunch of the 1950's Lagonda's, a very fine car; seemingly edging towards the 100k mark. In contrast to the DB2 dhc's imho, it is a better car, but I am biased of course.

I don't think the French owners have done to much, even the same pretty rough interior, - I went up to see the car at H&H at the time.

Very nice engine work by Headshop - but they can charge.

Agree with you about the drop top, it would look better in cream or tan, black does not suit the car.

All the best

Simon
