Subject: Bonhams NewPort Pagnell AM Sale 2015
There are no DB Lagondas or a Rapide at this years Newport Pagnell auction, a great shame indeed; unless there may still be late entries ?

LR155 is still in the heritage area at WS, has it been there since the last auction?

Hi David,
as the vendor of 155 last year, can you please tell me what WS stands for, and what the implications might be if it is still there in the heritage
area.
Thanks, from a long way away.

As David isn't online at the moment Mark, perhaps I can help. 'WS' stands for 'Works Service', which is now called (rather confusingly, I think) either 'Aston Martin Works' or 'Works': http://www.astonmartinworks.com

I did not attend the auction myself this year but a contact sent me this picture of 155 taken on the day. She looks 'well'. However, I imagine (though don't know) that the car is still being fettled.

Regards, Tim

Tim, thanks for replying to Mark. Sorry for using jargon

It looked as though the rear suspension had had some work as the trailing arm pivot castings appeared new. Otherwise we were kept away by the barrier seen in Tim's photo
